Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project

Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project is a new specialised support service for Ireland’s diaspora, including Irish people moving abroad as well as those returning to Ireland. This new project builds on the work that Crosscare Migrant Project has carried out over the last 15 years with members of Ireland’s Diaspora, thanks to funding from the Government of Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.

As part of our work we:

• Provide information and advice in person, over the phone, by email and online

• Host regular information sessions and webinars on going abroad or moving back to Ireland

• Offer advocacy support with access to social welfare payments, local housing supports, and statutory services

• Partner with Irish Emigrant Support Groups and Irish Consular Services for referrals, collaborative projects, and training purposes

• Undertake policy and research initiatives on emerging issues for Ireland's Diaspora
