Nine Eucharistic Processions at Annunciation

In celebration of the Archdiocesan Priority and the Jubilee Year, the Stewardship & Prayer Committee has organized Nine Eucharistic Processions around the church property, occurring on the first Saturday of each month. This year, the Archdiocesan priority is Worship. The committee has planned these processions to foster greater engagement in this initiative. We appreciate your full cooperation and support in making this a meaningful experience.

Archdiocesan Pastoral Priorities

Worship, Witness, and Service – these are the foundational pillars for our diocese, as identified by Archbishop Richard Smith in his pastoral letter Living in the Word.

1. Formation for Eucharistic Worship – Helping people know and understand the Liturgy according to the mind of the Church and better enter into it.

2. Formation for Confident Witness – Helping people grow in prayer and in their relationship with God and each other.

3. Formation for Service to Marriage and Family – Helping families return to the Church and grow in their practice of the Faith.

The Year of the Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope

The Holy Father has announced that 2025 will be a Jubilee Year, something which happens every 25 years. The theme for Jubilee 2025 is “Pilgrims of Hope,” and it will be a year of hope for a world suffering the impacts of war, the ongoing effects of the pandemic, and the climate crisis. In the letter that Pope Francis wrote in preparation for the Jubilee Year of 2025, he said that “The four Constitutions of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, together with the Magisterium of these recent decades, will continue to provide direction and guidance to God’s holy people, so that it can press forward in its mission of bringing the joyful proclamation of the Gospel to everyone.”
