From Mobile to Spatial: An App Case Study

After years of rumors and speculation, Apple finally launched the Vision Pro, a device for spatial computing, as Apple likes to refer to it.

Spatial computing is a concept that at first glance may seem quite abstract. It includes both VR and AR, but what else is there to it? How do you develop for visionOS, the operating system driving the Vision Pro? And what even is a quaternion?

We set out to explore these questions by reimagining an existing, in-production mobile app as a spatial app. Now we would like to share our findings with you.
