Oona Kapari is a Finnish music producer and sound engineer who has worked with many Finnish artists for over 15 years. She’s produced two Emma -nominated albums (the Finnish Grammy) in the Ethno-Emma and Critic’s Choice -categories. She graduated from Pop & Jazz Conservatory twice majoring in electric guitar and music technology and has then deepened her expertise with Grammy Award winning and nominated producers such as Greg Wells, Andrew Scheps and Emile Haynie. She is the head of a rebel record label Kuohu Records, releasing music from female writers and producers. After years of working as a recording engineer and mixer at one of the biggest music studios in Helsinki, the Finnvox Studios, she has settled into her own Kuohu Studio in Kruununhaka, Helsinki, where she continues to work with interesting music and artists from the indie scene.
